In an effort to promote quality improvement, the Cleveland Nasal Sinus & Sleep Center wishes to publically share a summary of Outcome data employed at the Center.
It is impossible to share all outcomes, however, the omission of a particular treatment does not necessarily mean that it is not performed or was not measured. As methods to report outcomes improve, there will be expanded reporting.
In an effort to measure patient experience at the center, the Cleveland Nasal Sinus & Sleep Center will begin to use a confidential Patient Satisfaction survey sponsored by the Ohio State Medical Association. This on-line computer based survey will provide the Cleveland Nasal Sinus & Sleep Center with feedback about the quality of services provided at the Center. Since personal and professional care provided with the highest level of expertise and integrity is our goal, this information will be used to improve and maintain these high standards. In addition to providing the highest level of care, Howard Levine, MD, Director of the Cleveland Nasal Sinus & Sleep Center, traveled extensively as a visiting lecturer and surgeon. These travels included Mideast Rhinologic Society (Dubai), Egyptian Otolaryngology Society (Luxor, Egypt), European Rhinologic Society (Crete), Michigan Ear, Nose and Throat Society, New Hampshire Ear, Nose and Throat Society, visiting professor in Kula Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, India, Cornell Medical Center, and Cleveland Clinic Florida. Dr. Levine also helped to organize Sinus Forum ’08, a course attended by over 300 physicians interested in learning about new technologies in sinus management.
