An active member of the Allergy and Immunology Committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, Dr. Houser is an Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) graduate of Ohio State University College of Medicine and summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of Notre Dame. Dr. Houser is a native Clevelander having attended Strongsville High School.
Dr. Houser completed his specialty training at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation - Section of Otolaryngology and has had fellowship training in rhinology and allergy in the Department of Surgery, University of Chicago.
Dr. Houser has special interest in nasal and sinus problems, allergy, and snoring and sleep apnea.
Listed in the Guide to America’s Top Physicians and Best Doctors in America, Dr. Houser is widely published in Laryngoscope, Archives of Otolaryngology, American Journal of Rhinology, and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
As an Assistant Professor, Case Western Reserve University, MetroHealth Medical Center and as a member of the Resident Education & Curriculum committee at Case Western Reserve University Department of Ear, Nose and Throat, Dr. Houser is actively involved with the training of new otolaryngologists. Dr. Houser is also an active member in the Northeast Ohio Head and Neck Surgery Society.
